Homework and Agenda 9/17/02 - 9/21/12

This week, we will be reviewing end marks, commas, semi-colons, and colons. Your biography folders need adjustments, so you will be working with a team to improve your writing. There will be a test over punctuation on Friday.


Homework: Due Friday, September 21, 2012

1. Interactive Reader and Writer workbook pages 202 - 209. Tear out and staple together.
2. Review D: End marks, Commas, Colons, and Semicolons
3. Signed Academic Honesty Policy
4. Read AR - Have you taken a test, yet? You should have a least one under your belt.
5. Study for your Punctuation Test on Friday

Grade printouts went home last week that match your progress report. Remember my policy: Late work  always accepted with an 80% deduction.

Complete Text Features Handout using two nonfiction books of your own.
Complete English workbook pages 195-196.
Quiz Friday over R1: Nonfiction examples and text structures AND text feature homework
