The copies for all of the questions and notes will be in the 8th grade yellow Literature folder. Also, check Edmodo for postings of the material as well. Students will pick up L10 in class Tuesday.
Create and compose a 12-point font, double-spaced typed or written composition about a Louisiana monster. Students will include a landmark ( ex: State capital, swamps, Superdome, sugar cane fields, etc), provide background inforamtion and explain how your monster died or how it exists. Minimun 150 words required. Be creative! This is due Friday.

· Something fun you did this summer

· Your likes and dislikes

· Your expectations and goals for ELA this year

· Where and when you were born

· Overview of your family

· Three adjectives you would use to describe yourself

· Where you plan on attending high school

· Anything else interesting you’d like to share with me
